Personal Changes in the Office Leasing Department at Jones Lang LaSalle  


Prague, 22 January 2013 – Jones Lang LaSalle Prague is announcing the following personal changes in the Office Leasing department, which are effective as of 1 January 2013.  

Eduard Forejt (36), has been named Head of the Office Leasing team, consisting of two parts: Landlord Representation and Tenant Representation. Eduard Forejt has been active on the Prague real estate market for 12 years now. Between 2003 and 2005 he worked in the Office Agency at King Sturge. In 2006 he joined the Office Agency at Jones Lang LaSalle, where he worked as Office Consultant and later (in 2008) he became Head of Landlord Representation having replaced Tewfik Sabongui. The above mentioned team has been a long term market leader and over the past 10 consecutive years, Jones Lang LaSalle´s office consultants concluded annually on average 30% – 40% of all office leasing transactions closed by real estate agents on the Prague market. His new responsibility is strategic client management, business development and winning new instructions for both parts of the Office Leasing department. 
Eduard Forejt studied University of Finance and Administration. To his hobbies belong architecture, hunting, motorcycles and IT. He is fluent in English and partly speaks Russian.            

Jan Mechl (35) has become the new Head of Office Landlord Representation. Jan has a master´s degree from Sheffield Hallam University in the UK. He has been working for Jones Lang LaSalle since 2005 and has wide experience in the office leasing process from both disciplines – Landlord as well as Tenant Representation. In the past 5 years, Jan worked for clients such as GlaxoSmithKline, AVG, SAP, Ogilvy and Hewlett-Packard. In his new role, Jan will focus on delivering high quality client service and enlarging the office building portfolio represented by Jones Lang LaSalle.  
Jan Mechl is fluent in English and dedicates his leisure time to music, skiing and gourmet food.       
  
Petr Kareš (45) continues to be Head of Tenant Representation, which he has been leading since 1999. This department, providing a high quality service to office tenants and was set up by Jones Lang LaSalle as the first of its kind on the Prague office market, and has been on the leaders in this field ever since.
Petr Kareš graduated from the Czech Technical University in Prague and since then has been working on the construction and real estate market. He joined Jones Lang LaSalle in 1996 and gained experience in Landlord Representation, led the Consultancy & Advisory team and since 1999 has been working in Tenant Representation.
Petr Kareš is fluent in English and French. He likes playing guitar, sport and travelling.
