Pavel spent three years with Unicredit Bank in their Commercial Real Estate Financing team before joining CBRE in 2005, where he became Head of Capital Markets for the Czech Republic and later CEE Director of Capital Markets. In 2010, Pavel joined GE Capital Real Estate as their CEE Head of Asset Management responsible for all of GE Real Estate’s assets in the Czech Republic, Poland, Slovakia, Bulgaria and Romania. He graduated from the University of Reading, where he received a diploma in Property Investment & Portfolio Management and the University of Economics in Prague (Finance and Accounting, Law). His key areas of expertise include: Asset & Property Management, Real Estate Financing and Transactions.

John Duckworth, Managing Director, CEE, Jones Lang LaSalle, comments: “I am very pleased about the arrival of Pavel Schanka to lead our Property Management business in CEE. Pavel is a first class professional with deep experience in terms of advanced property and asset management across the region. Pavel Schanka has replaced Virginie de Baere who has returned to Warsaw to become Head of Property Management Poland. Both of these new appointments represent the future for the provision of best in class Property Management services in a Czech, Polish and CEE market that is seeking higher levels of professionalism and expertise than ever before.”

Stuart Jordan (32) has been promoted to Head of Capital Markets for the Czech Republic as of February 2013 with responsibility for investment and development led transactions conducted by Jones Lang LaSalle.
Stuart is a seasoned real estate professional with experience in the fields of valuation and asset management having previously held positions with Cushman & Wakefield and Aston REIM in the Czech Republic, as well as transactional experience as CEE Investment Manager for the Endurance Fund. Prior to relocating to the Czech Republic in 2005, Stuart worked for Carter Jonas focusing on the Crown Estate portfolio in Yorkshire and the North of England.

Stuart is one of the youngest Fellows of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors across the globe and holds an honours degree in Real Estate Management from the Nottingham Trent University. Stuart is the sitting Chairman of RICS Czech Republic – a position to which he was elected at the start of 2012 and which he will hold for a three year term.

“I am very delighted to see Pavel and Stuart in their new positions and leading roles in the Czech Republic and very much trust this will strengthen our relationship with our clients even further. Both are experienced professionals with great knowledge and deep understanding of our market, which is critical for sustaining best services and best advice,“ said Tewfik Sabongui, Managing Director of Jones Lang LaSalle Czech Republic.
