JLL named Capital Markets and Office Agent of the Year at CEE Real Estate Quality Awards

Warsaw, Prague, Budapest, Bucharest, Bratislava, Belgrade, 14 April 2014 – JLL has been awarded two out of four agent awards in Central and Eastern Europe for the company's performance in 2013, at the prestigious 11th CEE Real Estate Quality awards gala, organized by CEE Insight Forum in association with the Financial Times. The firm was named Agent of the Year in CEE for Capital Markets – for the fourth time running - and also claimed the Office Agent of the Year award for the second year in a row.

Troy Javaher, Head of Capital Markets CEE, JLL, commented: “Receiving the Capital Markets award for the fourth consecutive year confirms our very strong position on the strategic advisory services market as well as our extensive expertise and continuous strong business performance across Central and Eastern Europe. We are truly delighted with this recognition and would particularly like to thank our clients for the trust they continue to show in us”.

JLL transacted properties worth approx. €2.2 bn in the CEE in 2013. This gave the company a 51% share in total volume of all sales/acquisition deals conducted with the participation of an advisory firm across the region. Major 2013 transactions conducted with JLL advisory included: Silesia City Center (€400m, Katowice, Poland), The Park (ca. €300m, Prague, Czech Republic) or Galeria Dominikańska (€151.7m, Wrocław, Poland).

The awards were determined by an independent jury panel of key sector decision makers,  including developers, landlords, investors and advisors, active in the real estate industry across the CEE region. The 11th edition of the event organized in Warsaw was attended by over 650 property professionals. The voting was monitored by an independent consulting company – Deloitte. 

The CEE Real Estate Quality Awards is the region's premier real estate event. The aim of CEEQA is to recognise excellence and promote the achievements of emerging Europe's real estate sector to the regional and international investment arena.
