JLL continues its successful cooperation with Damco

​Prague, 5 October 2015 – JLL’s industrial team has successfully negotiated another lease for logistics operator Damco Czech Republic – totalling 28,181 sqm in P3 Park Hradec Králové.

Damco, part of the A.P. Moller-Maersk Group and one of the world's leading providers of freight forwarding and supply chain management services, will be operating from another BTS distribution hall, (H2 - which P3 has just commenced) totalling more than 4,500 sqm, in addition to its current space in hall H3. The companies have also agreed to expand their current space by more than 10,000 sqm in hall H1. Altogether, Damco will be using 27,457 sqm of warehouse and 724 sqm of office space in the park.

Miroslav Kotek, Senior Consultant, Industrial Department, JLL comments the transaction: “Damco is a strategic partner for JLL and we have been cooperating with them on several significant transactions in various locations over the past couple of years. We are also happy to see their business growing across the entire CEE region. Damco has been operating in Hradec Kralove since 2010 where they decided to establish another branch in the Czech Republic. This new deal further enables them to service their customers within the East Bohemian region and also to have greater access to both Prague and Poland. The transaction itself was very efficient thanks to the flexibility on both sides. Apart from the renegotiation of the existing premises Damco decided to expand by an additional ca. 15,000 sqm in halls H1 and H2 to satisfy the increasing needs of their customers.”
