Prague Residential Market H1 2018

New Construction

During H1 2018, a total of 2,803 apartments commenced construction which shows an increase in construction activity by 37% on H1 2017 figures.


In H1 2018, the number of completed apartments declined both on H1 and H2 2017 with 2,360 apartments delivered.


During the first six months of 2018, a total of 2,817 apartments  were sold in new apartment buildings and fully refurbished projects.

Price Levels

The average price for new development projects increased to 79,937 CZK per sqm (net price excluding VAT). During H1 2018, the average price rose by 9%.
