We have helped by volleyball already for the fourth time! The Prague branch of JLL organized another beach volleyball charity tournament and raised 657,000 CZK which was a record amount! This time we donated it to two non-profit organizations.

The Czech branch of real estate consultancy company JLL organized the fourth Czech Real Estate Charity Beach Volleyball Tournament on August 16, 2018. The event in Žluté lázně in Prague was attended by a record 28 teams from companies operating on the Czech real estate market. Teams from the Czech and Slovak branch of JLL and Tétris played as well. Erste Group Immorent AG won the tournament, HB Reavis placed second and Penta finished on the third place.

After all volleyball matches, there was also an auction of 11 paintings, which were painted by volunteers from JLL in their free time and donated to the charities. In collaboration with Drawplanet, they spent 15 to 20 hours when painting on a real estate topic. The highest amount for which one of the paintings was auctioned reached astronomical 100,000 CZK. Its author is Adéla Jeřábková from the marketing department, auctioneer Bryan W ilson, co-founder of Wilsons. The amateur painter commented on the breath-taking amount: "I have not seen such money together in my whole life. It is probably stored in a briefcase, isn´t it?!", and with her sincerity, she amused all those present.

The final raised amount of a record 657,000 CZK was divided into two charities. One helping people who suffered from stroke with a return back to full life, the other supporting projects that help citizens integrate into full-fledged lives after they found themselves in a particularly difficult life situation from a social or health point of view.

Miroslav Barnáš, JLL CZ&SK CEO, was also very pleased with the success of this year's event: "I am delighted that we have been able to reach out to people in the industry for the fourth time and that this year's volleyball tournament was attended by a record number of teams. We were able to get together for a good cause, and I think it's the magic and power of the whole event."
